Health-care sector vulnerable to hackers, researchers say

I recently came across this Washington Post article and felt the need to share the article with Rick Gurba, President, Digital Planet, Inc.

The report identifies several common areas of deficiencies and points of entry for hackers."

In relation to the article, Gurba recommended, "An organization-wide computer and technology assessment by a qualified solution provider is highly recommended if one has not been completed within the past three years. Immediately following the assessment, a series of best practices should be implemented to avoid the common mistakes seen in a growing number of health care related business operations."
